Booking Appointments & Ordering Prescriptions ‘On Line’

We are pleased to announce that patients are now able to make appointments & order their repeat prescriptions 24 hours per day, 7 days per week via the internet using our ‘On Line’ booking service. This is a simple and straightforward process.

  • What will I need?
    • Access to the internet
    • A PIN Number
    • An Access ID
  • How do I get the PIN No & Access ID?
    • Contact the Practice Manager on 01904 – 724341. After checking your identity, he will issue you with a unique PIN No and Access ID along with details of what to do next.
  • Once I have these details what do I do?
    • Click on the link shown on our homepage. The first time you use the service you will be required to register as a ‘New User’ and enter a password.
    • Once this has been done you will be able to log on and make appointments or order prescriptions by following the instructions on screen.

Hints & Tips For Using the Internet

General advice

  1. If your have never logged on to the system before make sure you have created yourself as a ‘ new user.
  2. Remember to keep your password safe. If you enter the wrong password three times you will be locked out of the system. Should this happen, please dial 01904 – 724341 for assistance and new details can be given to you

Making Appointments

  1. Please ONLY make an appointment at the surgery you usually attend.
  2. We have 12 doctors working across 4 sites. They have ‘on call’ commitments’, chronic disease clinics to run, teaching commitments & training to undertake. This may account for what appears to be a lack of availability for a particular doctor on a particular day.
  3. The system allows you to have a maximum of 3 appointments at any one time You should NOT make appointments for other people using your registration details

Ordering Prescriptions

  1. You will ONLY be able to order ‘Repeat’ medication: these are the items shown on the right hand side of your prescription. You should NOT order prescriptions for other people using your registration details
  2. Although ordering ‘on line’, please remember your requests still need acting on by a member of staff and signing by a doctor. Please allow 48 hours before collecting your prescription.
  3. Our computer advises us if you appear to be over ordering. Please ONLY order medication when required. If you order too frequently your request may be declined
  4. Please check your prescription to find out when you are due a medication review, this can be found on the right hand side of your prescription (the counterfoil). If this is out of date a message will be sent back to you via the Internet asking you to make an appointment for a medication review.
  5. If you are registered at our main site in Selby please allow 1 full working day before collection of your repeat prescription. If registered at either of our branch surgeries please allow 2 full working days
