At Beech Tree Surgery we aim to provide all our patients with the best possible service, and to achieve this we need your cooperation.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please make every effort to cancel it well in advance so that it may be offered to someone else. Non-attendance and cancellations at short notice without a valid reason deprives patients of essential medical services.

Appointments are often wasted as people do not attend. Over 200 appointments are being wasted each month.
These appointments could have been offered to other patients.

Late For Your Appointment?

A common reason for clinicians running late is that some patients do not attend on time. You may not be able to be seen if you are late for your appointment, or you may have to wait until the end of the surgery to be seen. This is to ensure that we run our appointments on time.

Failure To Attend

If a patient fails to attend 3 or more appointments in any 12-month period, we will send them a Did Not Attend letter to remind them that in future they must cancel appointments if they are unable to attend.
If a patient fails to attend any further appointments after this, then we may consider asking you to register with another surgery.

We kindly ask that you cancel your appointment a minimum of 1 hour before your appointment time.
